Celebrate the modern American Classic of the Zombie Film with this uproariously fun board game that can support 4 to 10 players. The players divide into 2 distinct teams, one side directing the actions of cliché characters, the other commanding hordes of themed zombies. The characters attempt to escape to the outskirts of the town while the zombies hound, harass and ambush them. Smash in zombie convicts' skull with police batons, catch hordes on fire with homemade explosives, babble nonsense as a crazy hobo, rescue the cute chick and the muscled dude, run out of bullets at the most inopportune time, and yes . . . there is a zombie dinosaur.
In each game of Posthumous the town's layout, events, and even the characters and zombie themes are randomly generated, creating unique scenarios each play. It will be up to the teamwork of the players to best use the randomly assigned resources, their abilities and their enemies' weaknesses to win. Posthumous supports 4 to 10 players ages 12 and up. A game of Posthumous generally runs about 2 hours. Posthumous's mechanics are designed to scale as the number of players increased, so an 8 player game will generally only take marginally more time than a 4 player one. Though pee-pants comical, Posthumous fosters an astounding amount of teamwork and produces quite a few scenes of sheer awesomeness to boot.
